Murdock sighed. He wasn't the only one who had to adjust.
"Hannibal, I had to stay at the VA was because I didn't know how to put a stop on things. Everything was all or nothing. Then, when all this shit happened... well, it wasn't all running around saving your ass."
Hannibal chuckled, stopping when he realized Murdock was dead serious.
"I had a lot of thinking to do. And I realized that I don't have to live all or nothing. I have the power, Hannibal. The power to go with the flow, to regulate that flow. I didn't know I could until now. It's not as much fun, but it's not as scary, either." Murdock smiled. "I'm going to be okay, Hannibal."
